Cadets at all levels can achieve recognised qualifications as part of our syllabus of training. In addition to the Duke of Edinburgh's Award - from Bronze to Gold - our cadets can gain qualifications in leadership, first aid and music on top of the nationally recognised BTEC.

From the day new cadets join us, they are already working towards the BTEC Level 2 Qualifications in Aviation Studies - equivalent to GCSEs at A* - C grade.  There is also the opportunity for cadets to gain several other BTEC qualifications including music and sport. The Institute of Leadership and Management has accredited several RAF Air Cadets courses, enabling successful candidates to achieve leadership qualifications as part of the course.
